SINGLE CAB
The Transit Chassis Single Cab has a single row of two or three seats to maximise space for conversion. Each of the four wheelbase lengths is built with a robust ladder-frame chassis. This provides a flat, strong base on which to build your perfect van conversion. And with a maximum Gross Vehicle Mass (GVM) of 5000 kg, you can configure it to suit your needs exactly.
DOUBLE CAB
Designed to effortlessly move both your cargo and your team, the Double Cab is ideal for a crew van conversion. It carries up to seven passengers and the rear seats lift to reveal extra storage. Available in four wheelbase options, with a maximum 5000 kg GVM. Built with a robust ladder-frame chassis, the Double Cab is a solid foundation for your next crew van.

INTELLIGENT AWD
Icy winter roads, muddy access tracks – wherever your business takes you, All-Wheel Drive (AWD) gives you the confidence to go there. Intelligent All-Wheel Drive is a torque on demand system delivering surefooted progress over challenging surfaces. At the touch of a button or in response to driving conditions, AWD keeps you and your cargo squarely on the road. And for a weight gain of just -60kg, you get added versatility without sacrificing payload.
FORD ECOBLUE DIESEL ENGINE
With a range of advanced hybrid or diesel powertrains, the Chassis Single Cab is the perfect blend of power and efficiency. The four 2.0-litre Ford EcoBlue diesel engines offer up to 170 PS of horsepower and 415 Nm of torque. For the first time, you can also choose a Ford EcoBlue Hybrid powertrain, helping maximise efficiency and minimise emissions. And to meet the stringent emissions regulations, the Transit Chassis Single Cab is also available with a 130 PS or 170 PS Heavy Duty diesel engine.
ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL
Set your own pace with Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control. The system can identify the prevailing speed limit and automatically maintain your selected speed within the limit detected. Advanced radar technology scans for slower traffic in front of you, and can automatically adjust your speed to maintain a pre-set gap from the vehicle ahead. When the traffic has cleared, your Transit Chassis Single Cab will resume its pre-selected speed.
MAXIMUM CORNER CONTROL
Torque Vectoring Control reacts to the road surface 100 times per second. (That’s 33 times faster than the blink of an eye.) Using this information, it balances the amount of power delivered to each of the two front wheels of your Transit Chassis Single Cab. This maximises grip and sharpens handling, helping you round corners and over undulations in the road.
SIDE WIND STABILISATION
The Transit Chassis Single Cab helps the driver to stay in lane in strong, gusty conditions by using the Electronic Stability Control system. The system sense when the van is being affected by crosswinds and help to stabilise it.
